Honestly, these are the nicest courts I have played on thus far. They have recently been entirely re-done from the paint to the nets to the fencing around the courts. Playing here was an absolute joy, 2 hours went by so fast. The ocean view was really the cherry on top. (Bonus to some: there are 4 pickleball courts right nextdoor)
There are only 2 courts & the park can get pretty busy as the day goes on, but I can't blame anyone for that!
Plenty of parking. Quite during non-school hours.
These courts, or should I say court, is in pretty bad shape. The net is not held down in the center of the court which causes some issues when it is windy. The court lines are barely visible and need to be repainted. There are considerable cracks which have a large amount of weeds growing out of them (the entire court needs to be weed-whacked or sprayed). I would not recommend playing any matches here but it was OK to practice some forehands on.
These courts are really quite nice. There are 7 courts available so there's almost always on opening. They are very conveniently located to Portland and South Portland. The grounds are very well kept and accessing them is easy. There is ample parking available.
These courts are great, plain and simple. They're nothing fancy, but they are well kept and get the job done. I could play matches here or practice all day. Plenty of parking, good views.
I wish there was a wall to practice solo against :(
